Voter Registration Drive

The Decatur Campus Civic and Political Awareness Club is presenting a voter registration drive and presentation by the League of Women Voters of Georgia. The event will take place on Thursday September 30 from 11:30-12:30 in the Student Center. Registration forms are also available in the library.

The deadline for registering to vote in the November General Election is Monday, October 4. Register to vote and make your voice heard!

New DVD Player

A DVD player is now available for use in the library. The player and TV are located next to the TV/VCRs near the copy machines and microfilm in the back of the library. Many DVDs are available from other GPC libraries through Intercampus Loan or bring your personal or rented movies. Priority will be given to academic uses. Ask at the Reference Desk for more information.

Voter Registration

The deadline to register to vote in the November 2, 2004 General Election is October 4, 2004. Eligible voters may register in person in the Decatur Campus Library or by filling out, printing and mailing an online voter registration application. If you choose to register by mail, remember to include a photocopy of your Georgia driver's license.

Your application must be postmarked by the end of the day on October 4th, so make sure to register early.

Print Management

The new college-wide print management system is now installed in the Decatur Campus Library. A valid GPC ID or V-Card is now required for printing from all library computers. V-Cards are available for purchase in the library for non-GPC affiliated users.

9/11 Commission Report

The full report of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon The United States, commonly know as the 9/11 Commission, is available on the Commission home page and through GPO Access. Transcripts and video of public hearings are available through the Commission archives.
