Atlanta Time Machine

Ever wonder what downtown Atlanta looked like in the past? What used to be in the store on the corner? The Atlanta Time Machine is a website that takes archival photographs from the Georgia State University Libraries Special Collections and Archives Department and pairs them with current pictures of the same location. It provides an interesting look at the development of parts of metro Atlanta.

Voter Information

The 2004 General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 2nd. The Georgia Secretary of State's elections webpage contains a wealth of information about voting including lists of candidates and Constitutional amendments, a poll locator, and the Georgia advance voting program.

Many websites such as Project Vote Smart and Fact Check.org provide non-partisan information on candidates and issues. In addition, newspapers and magazines in the library and GALILEO provide election coverage and information. But in all cases use your critical thinking and information literacy skills to evaluate election related materials and make an informed decision.

Get out and vote for the candidates of your choice!
