Student Writing Competition

The Inkwell Decatur Campus Writing Club is sponsoring Express Yourself! A Decatur Campus Student Writing Competition. All currently enrolled Decatur Campus students are invited to submit their short ficiton and/or poetry.

Short fiction is limited to 2500 words and poetry to 40 lines. Prizes are $50 gift card for first place and $25 gift card for second place in each category.

Submit four copies of your manuscripts to room 1110 B Building by the end of the day on October 12th to be eligibile.

Winners will be notified by October 22nd and awards presented by novelist Tina McElroy Ansa at the Decatur Campus Authors' Festival.
